Micrologic is proud to announce they have extended their services into Grant County for a project with the Grant County Development Authority (GCDA). The GCDA recently contacted Micrologic to install wireless internet for businesses who operate in one of the harder to reach corners of Grant County.
Tammy Kitzmiller, Executive Director of the GCDA, sat down with Micrologic to talk more about the project and the benefits it has on the businesses and hopefully the entire county.
“Micrologic helped us to bring wireless internet to our Mountain Top Industrial Park. Until now, there was no internet access at this site. We had a business ready to move in who needed immediate connectivity, as well as other businesses considering our park. Micrologic and their reputation came highly recommended to us.”
Beitzel Corporation, an industrial contractor based out of Grantsville, Maryland, will be the anchor tenant in the industrial park and needed access to high-speed internet to be able to bring their business to Grant County. This new tower installation near Mount Storm will not only benefit the Mountain Top Industrial Park, but also some residential homes nearby.
“They were able to bring access to one of our most underserved areas of the county and we are very pleased to be connected with Micrologic,” Kitzmiller said. Micrologic President, Emiel Butcher, was also pleased to connect with Kitzmiller and Grant County. “They were great to work with and very accommodating. We had been wanting to expand into Grant County and they were happy to have us,” Butcher says.
With everything going well on this project, both parties are eager to move forward with Micrologic services in Grant County. “We are in the midst of assessing what we need to do and where we can go from here, but we are focused on trying to help our public get the best access possible,” says Kitzmiller when asked about the possible future with Micrologic.
